APC-GEN Initiative Aims to Mobilize 200,000 Voters in Epe

The APC-GEN Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation Initiative, convened by Olufowobi Desmond, recently gathered party members, leaders, candidates, and supporters in Epe Division, Lagos State. The initiative aims to strengthen unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and establish a grassroots structure to support the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Desmond stated that the initiative targets mobilizing 200,000 people across the division, marking a shift from traditional campaign rallies to direct engagement at local government, ward, and polling-unit levels. This approach seeks to identify voters and community leaders while addressing local challenges.

Desmond emphasized the importance of grassroots politics, stating, “We want to build a structure that connects directly with voters and addresses their needs.” The organizers also highlighted the necessity for increased youth participation and party unity, urging stakeholders to collaborate in mobilizing support for APC candidates in the upcoming elections.
