ADC Chairman Claims APC Anxious Over Opposition Growth

Ahmed El-Waziri, the Niger State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is feeling anxious about the growing presence of opposition parties. This anxiety, according to El-Waziri, is reflected in the actions of unknown individuals who have been tearing down ADC billboards and posters in the state capital.

During a media briefing in Minna, where ADC members convened to strategize for the 2027 general elections, El-Waziri expressed confidence that the ADC is poised to win at both state and federal levels, presenting itself as a viable alternative to the governance provided by the APC. He noted that the ADC has significant public support and criticized the APC for its attempts to destabilize opposition parties through legal challenges that result in conflicting judicial rulings.

El-Waziri emphasized the ADC's commitment to its electoral goals and the backing it receives from the masses, asserting that the party is gaining strength despite the current government's efforts to undermine it.
