APC Boosts PVC Registration in Ebonyi for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State is ramping up mobilization for the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections. Stanlei Okoro Emegha, the APC state chairman, announced on Tuesday during a stakeholders' meeting in Abakaliki that the party has secured additional registration machines from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This move comes in response to an overwhelming turnout of residents seeking to register for PVCs across various local government areas in the state. Emegha emphasized that the deployment of additional machines was necessary, as the initial allocation from INEC was insufficient to cater to the large number of people wanting to obtain their PVCs.

The APC is appealing to INEC headquarters to provide more machines to ensure that all interested residents can register successfully.
