APC to Maintain Power Beyond 2031, Says Yari

Abdul’Aziz Yari, the former Governor of Zamfara State and current Senator representing Zamfara West, has been appointed as the Director-General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign organization for the 2027 presidential election. Upon his return from an overseas trip, he was welcomed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja by supporters and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Yari expressed confidence that Tinubu’s administration has made significant progress and assured Nigerians that the APC would fulfill its campaign promises made during the 2023 election. He stated, “I want to assure Nigerians that whatever promise we made during campaign, we shall keep to our promises,” and expressed hope that Tinubu would secure another term in 2027.

Yari emphasized the party's commitment to leadership beyond 2031, praying for Tinubu's wisdom in leading the country.
