Prof. Dayo Faduyile of the All Progressives Congress has been declared winner of the Ondo South senatorial by-election with 68,474 votes.
Prof. Dayo Faduyile won the Ondo South senatorial district by-election conducted on Saturday, according to a declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The All Progressives Congress candidate polled 68,474 votes in the race. Voting took place throughout six local government areas spanning the district.
Results were unveiled on Sunday by Prof. Gbenga Solomon Ibiley, INEC's returning officer and Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, during proceedings at Okitipupa's collation centre.
