Widow Appeals to Wike Over Late Husband's Property Sale

Mrs. Sandra Onuora, a widow suffering from cancer, has sought intervention from Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), concerning the alleged sale of her late husband Eugene Onuora's property in Apo District, Abuja.

She claims that Alhaji Idris Shuaibu, Managing Director of Supercell Estate, and estate administrator Uchenna Duru conspired to sell the uncompleted property to Bishop David Ogudu, General Overseer of Christos International Worship Centre, for N70 million, in violation of a subsisting FCT High Court order that restrains any transaction on the property. Onuora described the house as the only significant inheritance for her and her children.

She alleged that Duru approached her in May 2026 with an offer to relinquish the property, which she rejected. Despite her refusal, she claims that Bishop Ogudu took possession of the property, removing its roof and starting reconstruction while workers were instructed to flee during police visits.

Onuora is calling for an investigation into the matter and enforcement of the court order.
