Aregbesola Discusses ADC's Election Losses in Anambra, FCT

Rauf Aregbesola, a former governor of Osun State, explained the reasons behind the African Democratic Congress (ADC) losing in the Anambra State governorship election and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) area council polls. During the party's ongoing national convention, Aregbesola acknowledged that the ADC faced several internal challenges, notably inadequate funding and poor organization.

He admitted that these factors contributed to the party's inability to perform effectively in the elections. Despite these setbacks, Aregbesola expressed optimism that the ADC would learn valuable lessons from this electoral experience to better prepare for future contests.

In the FCT area council elections, the ADC managed to secure only 5 out of 6 available seats, leaving the majority to the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
