Aregbesola Calls APC's Agenda a Scam, Urges Tinubu to Resign

Rauf Aregbesola, a former Minister of Interior and Governor of Osun State, strongly criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) national convention in Abuja on Tuesday. He described the APC's "Renewed Hope Agenda" as a scam and called for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign.

Aregbesola attributed the worsening economic conditions and rising insecurity in Nigeria to the current administration's failure to fulfill its promises. He noted the significant depreciation of the naira and the surge in fuel prices, which have increased pressure on Nigerians.

Aregbesola also condemned the poor state of electricity supply, stating that many communities receive only a few hours of power daily, leading to prolonged blackouts. He expressed concern over rising poverty levels and the growing number of school children, warning that the country is drifting in the wrong direction.

Aregbesola urged Nigerians to support the ADC as a viable alternative to restore effective leadership.
