Onanuga Critiques Aregbesola's Governance Record

Bayo Onanuga, a special adviser to President Bola Tinubu, criticized Rauf Aregbesola, a former governor of Osun State and Minister of Interior, during a party convention in Abuja. Onanuga described the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as lacking a coherent national agenda and accused Aregbesola of misrepresenting the performance of the current administration led by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He claimed that Aregbesola's tenure as governor left a legacy of hardship and that his time as Minister was fraught with challenges. In response to Aregbesola's criticisms regarding insecurity, Onanuga defended the Tinubu administration, asserting that it is transparent and has implemented reforms that positively impact the economy.

He emphasized that the government's reform agenda remains credible and is showing signs of improvement in economic indicators.
