Nigerian Army Declares Soldier Wanted for Uniform Sales

The Headquarters of the Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps (NAOC) has declared Private Mohammed Yusuf Amutu wanted due to his alleged involvement in the illegal sale and supply of military uniforms to terrorists and other criminal elements. Major Oluwatope Aluko, the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations for the NAOC, stated that preliminary investigations indicated Amutu absconded from his unit at the Nigerian Army Ordnance Kits Factory on June 3, 2026.

The military authorities have initiated efforts to locate and apprehend him for a comprehensive investigation and appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with military laws. The Corps reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct and any actions that could undermine the integrity and operational effectiveness of the Nigerian Army or threaten national security.

The public is urged to provide credible information regarding Amutu's whereabouts to assist in his arrest.
