Nigerian Army Honors Late Gen. Lagbaja with New Complex

The Nigerian Army has honored the late Lieutenant General Taore Lagbaja by naming a newly constructed complex at the Nigerian Army College of Logistics Management (NACOLM) in Lagos after him. The announcement was made during a speech by Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, who reaffirmed the Nigerian Army's commitment to strengthening institutional capacity through modern infrastructure and promoting military education.

Colonel Appolonia Anel, the acting director of Army Public Relations, stated that the complex is designed to enhance the college's training, administration, and welfare functions, providing a conducive environment for developing highly skilled logistics professionals capable of supporting operations across the Nigerian Army. Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu described the late General Lagbaja as an outstanding military leader whose selfless service continues to inspire officers and soldiers.

He urged instructors and students at the college to uphold the values exemplified by General Lagbaja and emphasized the importance of sustained investment in training and personnel welfare.
