Nigerian Army Launches Lagbaja Complex for Logistics Training

The Nigerian Army officially commissioned the Lagbaja Complex in Lagos to strengthen logistics training within the military. The ceremony was led by Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, who highlighted the complex's design to enhance military education and improve administrative efficiency while promoting personnel welfare.

Named after the late Lieutenant General Taore Lagbaja, a distinguished military leader known for his selfless service, the complex is expected to expand the Nigerian Army College of Logistics Management's (NACOLM) capacity to train logistics professionals, whose expertise is essential for sustaining military operations. The facility aims to bolster administrative infrastructure and strengthen the framework for developing personnel responsible for logistics planning and resource management.

Lieutenant General Shaibu urged officers and instructors at NACOLM to emulate the discipline and dedication exemplified by the late General Lagbaja, reaffirming the commitment to invest in training institutions and modern infrastructure to ensure the Nigerian Army remains combat-ready and resilient.
