Attacks on Nigerian Police Facilities Claim 45 Officers' Lives in 1 Year

Over the past year, Nigeria has witnessed a series of attacks on police facilities leading to the deaths of 45 officers. These incidents have occurred in states like Borno, Ondo, Enugu, Kano, Zamfara, Kwara, Kaduna, Niger, and Kogi.

The attacks involved various groups, including Boko Haram terrorists, bandits, and armed criminals. Specific incidents include the killing of two policemen by Boko Haram in Borno, the burning of a police station in Ondo following mob action, and the attack on a police station in Enugu resulting in the death of Constable Akpa Emmanuel.
