Bamanga Tukur Buried in Yola, Adamawa State

Bamanga Tukur, the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was laid to rest in his hometown of Yola, Adamawa State, on Sunday after funeral prayers conducted in accordance with Islamic rites. The prayers were led by Alhaji Ahmadu Bobboi, the Chief Imam of Modibbo Adama Central Mosque, at 10:50 am.

Tukur's remains were taken to the family house at Fadde-Sanda, along Abuja Road, Yola, where he was interred at approximately 11:30 am. He passed away on Saturday at the age of 91.

Tukur is survived by two wives and 18 children, including Awwal Tukur, the Secretary to the Adamawa State Government. The funeral was attended by notable figures such as business mogul Aliko Dangote, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, Senator Iya Abbas, and former Governor Jibrilla Bindow, along with traditional rulers and other dignitaries from Adamawa State and beyond.
