Bandits Kill Two, Abduct Eleven in Sokoto Attacks
On Tuesday at approximately 12:30 am, bandits on about 20 motorcycles invaded Taloka, Sokoto, resulting in the deaths of two residents and the abduction of eleven others. In a separate incident in Huda village on Monday around 9:30 am, bandits abducted five farmers while they were working on their lands. The abducted individuals were identified as Samaila Salisu, Musa Abdu, Naziru Saidu, and Dan Abu Abdulkarim, with Basiru Bawa later released.
This incident marked the 11th attack on the community, with residents calling for government intervention to restore security and enable farming activities.
