Bauchi First Lady Launches N80M Women Empowerment Package

Aisha Mohammed, the wife of the Bauchi State Governor, unveiled an empowerment package valued at over N80 million aimed at supporting women across Bauchi State. This initiative, announced on a Sunday through a statement by her Press Secretary, Zainab Garba, includes the distribution of bags of cassava to enhance women's livelihoods and strengthen household incomes.

The First Lady reaffirmed her commitment to improving women's lives through practical interventions that promote economic independence. The statement highlighted that the initiative reflects her ongoing focus on women's welfare and dignity at the grassroots level.

Additionally, Yakubu Adamu, the APM governorship candidate, contributed N5 million to assist women from the 20 local government areas with transportation to return to their communities. Both interventions emphasize the critical role of women as contributors to families, communities, and the overall development of Bauchi State.
