Bauchi Politician Denies Running Mate Speculation for 2027

Farouk Mustapha, a politician from Bauchi State, issued a statement on Friday denying claims that he is being considered as a running mate for Seyi Makinde, the presidential candidate of the Alli Peoples Movement (APM) for the upcoming 2027 elections. Mustapha clarified that there have been no discussions or arrangements regarding this role, nor has he given consent for any such proposal.

He emphasized that the rumors circulating on social media are entirely false and without foundation. Mustapha expressed his contentment with his current position and stated that he trusts in Allah's guidance regarding his path.
