Benue Residents Praise Progress on Infrastructure Projects

Residents of Benue State have expressed their appreciation for the ongoing infrastructure projects, particularly the Buruku-Logo Bridge and the Makurdi-Gboko Road, which were inspected by a delegation led by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

The Buruku-Logo Bridge is one of five Federal Government bridges under construction in the state, aimed at reconnecting isolated communities and improving access to markets for farmers. The Makurdi-Gboko Road is part of the Abuja-Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Makurdi Expressway, scheduled for completion in December 2027.

The projects are financed through the Renewed Hope Infrastructure Development Fund. Residents anticipate that the Buruku-Logo Bridge will eliminate dangerous river crossings and reduce boat accidents during the rainy season, while also creating job opportunities for local youths.

They pledged continued support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, recognizing the positive impact of these infrastructure developments.
