Nationwide Hospitals Face Closure as Resident Doctors Commence Strike

Hospitals nationwide are set to shut down as the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) begins a nationwide strike following the expiration of the ultimatum issued to the Federal Government. The strike action, which was confirmed in a statement signed by Oluwasola Odunbaku, President of NARD, is in response to unresolved demands, including the 2025 Medical Residency Training Fund and five-month arrears.
