Muktar Betara Aliyu Launches Campaign for 2027 Elections

On September 9, 2023, Muktar Betara Aliyu formally launched his campaign in Biu, emphasizing the need for unity and collective effort among his supporters. He expressed gratitude for their loyalty, which he views as both motivation and responsibility.

Aliyu praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his attention to development in the region, specifically mentioning the recently approved Biu–Dual Highway Project, which he believes will enhance movement and economic opportunities. He appealed to the president to also focus on the Biu–Damaturu Road, highlighting its importance for connecting residents to surrounding areas.

Aliyu urged his supporters to back President Tinubu and Vice President ahead of the 2027 elections, as well as to support incoming Governor Mustapha Gubio and Senator Ali Ndume. He concluded by stressing that unity is essential for achieving political and developmental goals in the upcoming elections.
