Ogun HoS Advocates Capacity Building for Civil Service

Ogun State Head of Service Kehind Onasanya stated that capacity building is crucial for improving the efficiency of the civil service. This declaration was made during the opening of a three-day staff retreat themed "Enhancing Productive and Effective Service Delivery" at Rolak Hotel Suite in Ijebu Ode.

The retreat, which took place under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, aims to develop the workforce across the civil service. Onasanya expressed a commitment to training that would lead to a productive and efficient workforce.

He noted that effective civil service goes beyond routine duties and includes prudent resource management, innovation, teamwork, and adherence to ethics. Ganiyu Hamzat, representing the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, described the retreat as a strategic platform for staff development and performance improvement.

The retreat is designed to foster collaboration and promote reforms within the civil service.
