CcHUB Launches GATEWAY Program for 340,000 Youth

The Co-Creation Hub Ltd (CcHUB) has launched the GATEWAY Program aimed at registering 340,000 young Nigerians to secure gig work in the expanding global digital economy, projected to be worth approximately $1.85 trillion by 2032. The program is designed to address Nigeria's skill and employment gap by equipping participants with the necessary competencies to thrive in today's flexible digital gig economy.

It focuses on four high-demand markets: creative digital skills, digital marketing, video production, and graphic design, with a particular emphasis on empowering underserved groups, including young women, persons with disabilities, and displaced youth. Ojoma Ochai, Managing Director of CcHUB, stated that the program represents a crucial intervention for Nigeria's youth unemployment challenges.

The GATEWAY Program will be implemented across ten Nigerian states: Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Rivers, Delta, Edo, and Enugu, with registration now open on the GATEWAY portal.
