Abia State and National Centre Collaborate to Control Arms in South East Nigeria

The National Centre for Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons, in collaboration with the Abia State government, is intensifying efforts to control the proliferation of arms in the South East Zone of Nigeria. The Director of the center, Captain Chris Anusiem, emphasized the importance of collective action in tackling arm proliferation, with Governor Alex Otti pledging support for crime prevention initiatives.

The partnership aims to enhance peace and security in the region by addressing the challenges posed by the spread of small arms and light weapons.
