NCCSALW Collaborates with Govs to Curb Small Arms Proliferation

The National Centre for Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW), under the Office of the National Security Adviser, is partnering with state governments and security agencies to curb the proliferation of small arms in Nigeria. The collaboration between NCCSALW and the Taraba State Government aims to address the illicit spread of small arms and light weapons in the country.

Maj. Abubakar Adamu (Rtd) of NCCSALW emphasized the need to sensitize the public on the dangers of illicit arms and engage stakeholders to prevent further proliferation.

The initiative seeks to enhance security and reduce the risks associated with the unauthorized possession and use of small arms.
