Military Operations in North Central Nigeria Commended

The Civic Centre for National Security and Civic Responsibility (CCNSCR) issued a statement on Thursday commending the Nigerian military's intensified operations in North Central Nigeria. The statement, signed by Executive Director Dr.

Johnson Audu, highlighted notable improvements in security operations across the region, which have led to a gradual restoration of order and a reduction in banditry and violent attacks. The CCNSCR emphasized the importance of a proactive, intelligence-driven approach to military operations that disrupt criminal networks and contain threats.

The group urged the military to sustain pressure on criminal elements to ensure stability and prevent a relapse into widespread insecurity. As Easter approaches, the CCNSCR called for heightened vigilance and robust deployment of forces to guarantee peace and security nationwide.

The statement also stressed the need for citizen cooperation and support for security agencies, highlighting that security cannot be achieved through military action alone.
