CIPPON and KASU Collaborate on Degree-Level Printing Courses

The Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) has initiated the process to establish degree-level printing management courses at Kaduna State University (KASU). This plan was announced during a visit by CIPPON executives, led by Comrade Koko T.

Clement, the National President and Chairman of the Governing Council, to KASU on Monday. The initiative aims to boost the printing profession within both the civil service and private sectors.

Comrade Clement expressed the desire to have a printing faculty in at least one university in each of the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Strategic Innovation and Service Delivery at KASU, Professor Helen Andow, stated that CIPPON would quickly submit a detailed proposal to the Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre for academic consideration.

The establishment of this program aligns with KASU's successful Entrepreneurship Centre, which has graduated over two thousand entrepreneurs since its inception. CIPPON also confirmed ongoing efforts to introduce similar courses at the University of Abuja.
