UBEC Launches Drive for Inclusive Education in Nigeria

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) in Nigeria has launched an initiative to harmonize resources in the basic education sector, emphasizing inclusivity and ensuring no learner is left behind. Stakeholders gathered in Abuja for a two-day engagement to develop a framework for effective delivery of special inclusive education.

The Executive Secretary of UBEC, Hajia Aisha Garba, highlighted the need for coordinated efforts to address challenges in special inclusive education. Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura commended the progress made towards inclusive basic education, urging stakeholders to work together to transform the education system.
