Dalung Demands Investigation into Gbajabiamila Over PFIPC

Solomon Dalung, a former Minister of Youth and Sports, has urged for a thorough investigation into Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, concerning the PFIPC scandal. Dalung stated that any investigation would be meaningless without first scrutinizing the Chief of Staff, whom he considers a prime suspect in the alleged misconduct.

He highlighted that Adeyemi Matthew, a businessman, allegedly gained unauthorized access to the Presidential Villa, which is tightly controlled. Dalung insisted that the investigation should extend beyond Matthew to include several senior government officials, including Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President, and others in key positions such as the Director General of the DSS, the Chairman of the EFCC, and the Central Bank Governor.

He warned against attempts to shield public officials from scrutiny, asserting that accountability is essential to avoid further embarrassment for Nigeria.
