Dangote Cement Distributes Educational Materials in Kogi

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Dangote Cement Plc, through its Obajana Plant, distributed educational materials in Lokoja, Kogi State. General Manager of the Social Performance Department, Ademola Adeyemi, stated that this initiative is an extension of the company's CSR efforts.

The distribution included school bags, exercise books, writing materials, and water bottles, aimed at improving the learning experience for pupils and preparing them for the next academic session. This intervention followed a needs assessment revealing that many students lacked essential learning materials.

Abubakar Sanni, Head Teacher of UBE LGEA School, expressed gratitude to Dangote Cement Plc and its Group President, Aliko Dangote, for extending educational support beyond host communities. The beneficiaries, school management, parents, and community stakeholders appreciated the timely intervention, which is part of Dangote Cement's broader commitment to social investments, including healthcare and infrastructure projects.
