PFIPC DG Adeniyi Adeyemi Addresses Agency Controversy

Adeniyi Adeyemi, the Director General of the alleged fake agency known as the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), addressed the controversy surrounding the agency in a video call with activist Vincent Ots, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM). Adeyemi expressed confusion over why the presidency labeled the agency as fake, especially in light of its mention in the national budget.

He insisted that he did not act alone in the agency's operations. The controversy has been linked to the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, who continues to deny any knowledge of the agency.

Recently, President Bola Tinubu directed the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission to launch a probe into the matter, with a report expected back in 30 days. The ongoing saga raises questions about the legitimacy of the agency and its activities.
