DSS Rescues Four Kidnapped Polytechnic Students in Zamfara

On Wednesday, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) successfully rescued four students from the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, who had been kidnapped by armed bandits on June 3. The students were abducted from their off-campus hostel in the Low-cost area of Kaura Namoda town, where six students were initially taken.

Following the earlier release of two students, the DSS intensified its intelligence-led operations, leading to the rescue of the remaining four students without the payment of any ransom. During the operation, one of the kidnappers was arrested, while others did not survive.

This rescue operation occurred just days after the DSS secured the release of a professor from Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
