DSS Rescues Four Kidnapped Students in Zamfara

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Zamfara State successfully rescued all four remaining kidnapped students of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, late Wednesday. This operation was disclosed by security expert Zagazola Makama, who stated that the rescue was conducted without any ransom being paid.

The group of students included four males and one female, who had been abducted on June 3 from their off-campus hostel in the Low-cost area of Kaura Namoda town when armed bandits invaded the building and kidnapped six students. Following the earlier release of two of the six students, security forces intensified an intelligence-led operation that culminated in the safe return of the remaining students.

During the operation, one of the kidnappers was arrested, while others did not survive.
