MultiChoice Offers Free DStv Premium Upgrade for Subscribers

MultiChoice has announced a free seven-day DStv upgrade for two types of subscribers, effective from October 26, 2026. Customers on the Starter package will be upgraded to the Select package, while those on the Movies & Series package will gain access to DStv Premium for seven consecutive days at no additional cost.

The upgrades will be applied automatically to eligible customers, who must have an active month-to-month subscription, maintained for at least one month, and paid their bills in full and on time. Excluded from this promotion are customers on quarterly or annual plans, as well as those on price-lock contracts.

This upgrade follows a restructuring of MultiChoice's subscription packages on September 17, 2026, which introduced new options for sports and entertainment viewers. MultiChoice's CEO, Willington Ngwepe, stated that the company aims to deliver more value to subscribers through initiatives like this upgrade program.
