Durodola Secures 45th KO Win at National Stadium

Olanrewaju Durodola, a 45-year-old cruiserweight boxer, secured his 45th knockout victory at the National Stadium in Surulere, Nigeria, by defeating Sadiq Akano in a cruiserweight bout. The fight, headlined by Prizefight TV, ended in the first round when referee Moruf Akanbi stopped the contest after Akano failed to beat the count.

Durodola, who is also a Nigerian policeman, improved his professional record to 50 wins, with 45 of those by knockout, from a total of 51 fights. He demonstrated dominance early in the match, cutting off the ring and landing punishing combinations that sent Akano crashing to the canvas, much to the delight of the roaring crowd.

The event also included eleven other bouts across various weight classes, with notable fights such as Adebayo Adeniyi Dada stopping Kola Adeyemo in the third round and Samuel Elegbed outpointing Sadiq Popoola via unanimous decision in a six-round middleweight bout.
