Ebonyi Govt Demolishes Unapproved Building in Urban Development Crackdown

The Ebonyi State Ministry of Capital City Urban Development demolished an ongoing building suspected of being a plaza in Azuebonyi, Ebonyi State, due to lack of approval. The Commissioner of the Ministry, Chief Sunday Elechi Inyima, stated that the building encroached on a designated double-lane area along the highway.

Despite prior warnings to the building owner to remove the structure, construction continued, leading to the demolition. The ministry emphasized the importance of obtaining proper building approvals to prevent such actions in the future, highlighting the need for compliance with regulations in urban development projects.
