Oluyede Urges PDP Members to Support Tinubu's 2027 Bid

Dr. Wole Oluyede, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the June 20 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, urged party leaders and members to support President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential elections. This appeal was made during the inaugural meeting of the Oluyede Progressive Alliance For Renewed Hope Agenda (OPARPA) in Ado-Ekiti.

Oluyede affirmed his commitment to the PDP while expressing his intention to collaborate with his supporters for Tinubu's re-election. He announced the cessation of political differences with Ekiti State Governor Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, stating they would work together for Tinubu's campaign.

Oluyede also revealed the formation of a political alliance that includes the PDP, Accord, Action Democratic Party (ADP), Young Progressive Party (YPP), Action Alliance (AA), and other groups to bolster support for Tinubu. He encouraged his supporters to move past grievances from the 2026 Ekiti governorship election, following a communication from the presidency urging unity for national progress.
