Enugu State Government Shuts Down Bet9ja Operations Over Alleged Violations

The Enugu State Government has closed down Bet9ja operations in the state for reportedly breaching Enugu State gaming laws. The shutdown was carried out by the Enugu State Game Lottery Commission following a court order issued by the High Court of Enugu State.

Arinz Arum, the Executive Secretary of the Commission, explained that the action was taken after repeated warnings and notices to KC Game Network, the operator of Bet9ja, regarding regulatory breaches and outstanding fees. The Commission emphasized the importance of compliance with gaming laws and highlighted the total shutdown of Bet9ja's operations in the state.

The closure marks a significant step in enforcing regulatory standards within the gaming industry in Enugu State.
