Anambra SSG Denies Involvement with Fake Agency

Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, the Secretary to the Anambra State Government, issued a statement clarifying her position regarding the alleged "Made-in-Nigeria Agency." She emphasized that she had no role in the agency's conception or operations, responding to rumors that she was a state coordinator. Nnake explained that her involvement began when the agency requested Anambra to appoint a focal person, leading to her nomination by Governor Chukwuma Soludo in February 2026.

She noted that she and other state focal persons were part of a WhatsApp group discussing the agency's activities. The agency had requested Anambra to host the Made-in-Nigeria Fair in the South-East, which was approved, and an inaugural meeting was held with the National Coordinator.

Nnake stated that the fair is scheduled for December 2 to December 5, 2026. She reiterated that beyond these official interactions, she had no knowledge or involvement with any other activities related to the agency.
