Family Holds Final Prayers for Kidnapped NYSC Member

The family of Abba, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), is planning to hold final prayers after the abductors went silent despite the payment of a ₦10 million ransom. Initially, the family had been in communication with the kidnappers, who later demanded additional items, including a motorcycle, after receiving the ransom.

However, the family has decided against paying any further ransom due to the lack of communication from the abductors. In accordance with Islamic rites, the family is preparing to conduct a janaza prayer in absentia for Abba on Friday, March 6.

They expressed gratitude to individuals who supported them during this difficult time and prayed for Abba's safe return and for strength during the ordeal.
