FCC Chairman Omidiran Promises Youth Inclusion in Service

On Tuesday, Hon. Omidiran, the chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), hosted a delegation from the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), led by its Deputy National President, Comrade Mukhtar Akosil, at the FCC headquarters in Abuja. During the courtesy visit, Omidiran expressed her commitment to inclusion and fairness in public service, highlighting the need for young Nigerians to have access to employment opportunities.

She stated that the FCC would focus on prompt action and result-oriented leadership to promote equity and national cohesion. Omidiran reaffirmed the FCC's zero tolerance for job racketeering and emphasized the importance of integrity and adherence to due process.

Akosil, in turn, expressed the council's readiness to collaborate with the FCC to advance youth-focused initiatives and ensure that the voices of young Nigerians are heard. The meeting included other notable attendees such as Hon. Peter Ez from Enugu State, Hon. Muhammad Awwal from Kano State, and Hon. Ibrahim Abdul Mairiga from Gombe State.
