FCT Police Warns Miyetti Allah Against Urban Grazing

On Monday, FCT Commissioner of Police Ahm Moham Sanusi issued a warning to the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-Cultural Association regarding the practice of allowing underage children to engage in cattle grazing, particularly at night and within urban areas of Abuja. This warning was made during a courtesy visit from a delegation led by Alhaji Gidado Idri, the North Central Zonal Chairman of the association.

Sanusi acknowledged the challenges faced by the association's members, including conflicts with farmers, attacks from local vigilante groups, and cattle rustling. He assured the delegation that the FCT Police Command would address these issues promptly and within the law.

Sanusi emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and respect between herders and farmers to sustain peace and prevent conflicts. He also cautioned against taking the law into their own hands during disputes and urged the association to report any suspicious activities to the police.
