FG Upgrades Ijora, Apapa Substations, Boosts Power Grid
On Monday, the Federal Government commissioned two upgraded transmission substations in Ijora and Apapa, Lagos, enhancing the power grid by an additional 208 megawatts. The Ijora substation's capacity increased from 90MVA to 230MVA with the installation of two new 100MVA transformers, contributing 112MW.
