FG Delivers 129 Housing Units in Nasarawa State

On Sunday, the federal government officially handed over 129 housing units to beneficiaries at the Nasarawa Technology Village in Karu, Nasarawa State. This initiative is part of the government's efforts to expand access to affordable housing.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqha Rabe Darma, presented the keys to the beneficiaries, emphasizing that this initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Housing Agenda. Darma stated that the administration is committed to making home ownership more accessible to Nigerians, with plans to deliver more housing units before December 2026.

He highlighted that the Renewed Hope Housing Agenda places housing at the core of improving the lives of Nigerians. The housing project was funded by the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and developed by Modern Shelter Systems and Services Limited through a Public-Private Partnership with the Nasarawa State government.

Darma reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to delivering 100,000 houses by the end of President Tinubu’s first term.
