FG Launches Upgraded IPPIS Self-Service Platform

On Thursday during the 2026 Civil Service Week activities in Abuja, the Federal Government unveiled an upgraded Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System (IPPIS) self-service platform. This initiative, presented by Didi Esther Walson-Jack, the head of the Federal Civil Service, aims to enhance efficiency and transparency in service delivery across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The platform enables federal civil servants to access and manage their personnel records, payslips, leave applications, and other human resource services digitally, eliminating lengthy manual procedures. Walson-Jack emphasized the importance of embracing technology to empower civil servants and streamline administrative processes.

Nkiruka Jone Nebo, from the Career Management Office, noted that the platform simplifies HR processes and reduces administrative delays. Olusola Abiodun explained that the upgraded platform provides direct access to a wide range of HR services for approximately 600,000 employees across MDAs.

The initiative adheres to international standards and aims to improve service delivery while reducing bureaucratic bottlenecks.
