Hong Warns Against Fintiri's Leadership in Adamawa APC

Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, a former Minister of State for Health, has issued a warning against the potential leadership takeover by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, who recently defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During a ceremony at the APC secretariat in Yola, Hong cautioned that allowing Fintiri to assume a leadership role would be a grave injustice to long-standing members of the party. He emphasized that the APC should not permit someone from outside the party to lead, as it undermines the efforts of those who have nurtured the party over the years.

Hong praised the leadership of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, highlighting his contributions and sacrifices for the party. He expressed confidence that the APC could reclaim power in Adamawa State by 2027 without compromising its integrity.

Shuaibu Idri, the Adamawa State APC chairman, assured Hong of equal rights and opportunities within the party.
