Copper Intelligence Advances DRC Copper Exploration

Copper Intelligence Inc., a US-listed explorer, is progressing with its copper exploration and development projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, following initial drilling results from its Butembo Copper Project. The firm reported during the Clean Energy & Metals Virtual Investor Conference in August that its six-hole drilling program confirmed a strong near-surface copper mineralization profile, including 7.55 metres at 5.39 percent copper from the surface.

The mineralized structure has now extended over 300 metres along strike, with expectations to release another six drill results soon. Chairman Andrew Groves stated that the mineralized strike length has reached approximately 1,400 metres, with potential to widen the ore body to 75 to 100 metres.

Groves expressed excitement over the copper grades and highlighted the project's strategic location near the Ugandan border for export logistics. He also addressed security concerns, noting collaboration between the Congolese and Ugandan governments to ensure safety in the region.
