Ibadan Foundation's Annual Lecture on Agriculture Set

The Ibadan Foundation, a socio-economic organization comprising prominent Ibadan sons and daughters, is scheduled to conduct its 2026 annual lecture on September 17. The lecture will take place at the Ibadan Civic Centre, Idi-Ape, Ibadan, starting at 11 am.

The theme for this year's lecture is “Cultivating Community: Ibadan Social Dynamics in Agriculture,” emphasizing agriculture's significance in enhancing community development and social relations in Ibadan. The event is part of the foundation's initiative to foster discussions on human and national interests and contribute to the development of Ibadanland.

The lecture will be presented by Prof Felix Salako, a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. The chairperson for the event will be retired Maj Gen Asimiyu Olaniyi, while the special guest of honour will be the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja.
