Five Youth Footballers Die in Kebbi Auto Crash

Five youth footballers lost their lives in a tragic auto crash in Kebbi State when their Toyota Sienna vehicle lost control and somersaulted. The incident prompted a visit from Governor Nasir Idris to the palace of the district head of Ambursa, where he expressed his condolences.

Governor Idris directed emergency measures to save lives and assist those who sustained injuries. He described the loss of the five young men as a great tragedy not only for the Ambursa community but for Kebbi State as a whole.

In a gesture of support, the governor announced a financial package of N20 million for the families of the deceased, with N1 million allocated to each family and N2 million for those who sustained injuries. The district head, Alhaji Isah Haruna Rashe, expressed profound appreciation for the governor's swift intervention and financial support for the victims.
