The corpses of the seven civilians were also recovered and taken to a mortuary. Commissioner of Police Cletus Nwadiogbu praised the courage and resilience of the operatives and paid tribute to the fallen officers.

Additional tactical teams have been deployed to reinforce security in the area, and residents are urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies.
