Four Arrested in Bauchi for Sexual Assault on Minors

Four suspects were arrested by the Bauchi State Police Command for alleged sexual assaults on minors across four local government areas. The Commissioner of Police, Mr.

Sani Omolori Aliyu, condemned these acts as inhuman and unacceptable, reiterating the command's commitment to protecting women and children. The incidents occurred between June 19 and June 26, 2026.

Abdullahi Iliya, 27, allegedly lured his 9-year-old sister for unlawful carnal knowledge. Isiyaku Ibrahim, 28, a staff member at IQRA Integrated Academy, reportedly lured a 10-year-old girl into a classroom for sexual assault.

Additionally, Adamu Hassan, 35, was accused of carnal knowledge of an 8-year-old girl. The police have assured that the suspects will be diligently prosecuted and urged parents and guardians to report any cases of abuse to the nearest police station.
